Send a message

Send a text message sends from one of your company’s numbers (caller_id) to an account holder’s phone.

caller_id must be a number assigned to your company in DCDial.
Messages are billed to your dialer balance; sending fails if the balance is too low.
Set use_template=Y to send a saved SMS template instead of sms_text.

See what was sent

Retrieve sent messages lists messages between two dates, newest or oldest first, with limit and offset for paging.

Receive replies

When an account holder replies, DCDial posts the reply to your webhook. See the SMS webhook.
