Introduction
The DCDial API lets your systems do what your team does in the DCDial app: run outbound dialing campaigns, load accounts, read call results and statistics, set up payment agreements and payment links, take payments and send text messages.
How the API is shaped
Section titled “How the API is shaped”- One URL. Every request is an HTTPS
POSTtohttps://api.dcdial.com/api/. - The
typefield picks the operation, for exampletype=play_campaignortype=send_text_message. - Form fields in, JSON out. Send fields as
application/x-www-form-urlencoded(ormultipart/form-datawhen you upload a file). A JSON body also works if you setContent-Type: application/json. - Token authentication. Log in once with a username and password, then send the returned
tokenon every request. - No SDK needed. Any HTTP client works. Every reference page has samples in cURL, PHP, Node.js and Python.
The current API version is 2.0.
